We collect very little. This page says what we hold, who processes it, and how to reach us.
What we collect
When you take out a policy we ask for your name and email address. That is enough to bind cover and post a card if you ever claim.
How we use it
- To send your policy email and any claim correspondence.
- To notify our operator that a new policy was taken out.
- To look up your subscription when you open the billing portal.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Stripe
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your email and payment details according to their privacy policy. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and a customer record tied to your email.
Policy emails are sent through Resend. Your name, email, and policy number travel through their systems to reach your inbox.
Retention
We keep policy and billing records for as long as needed to honour claims, handle billing questions, and keep the bit running. You may ask us to delete correspondence by writing to hello@yotei.guide.
